I have learned about one of the many theories of how some of the first Americans traveled and populated many different areas of the continent.  It is believed that humans had crossed the Bering Strait which was a natural bridge forged of ice, that allowed nomads to reach Alaska.  The article also stated that there was impassable glacial ice that would have prevented the early Americans from crossing the Bering Strait. One of the theories answering this question was that the nomads used an inland corridor on the eastern flank of the Rocky Mountains. This theory is criticized because other scientists speculate that newly found evidence shows that the corridor was might not have been free of ice until twelve thousand years ago which would not match the time frame on which the nomads were passing  through. Further into the documentation (video), I learned of the advances and improvements of the primitive people. Basically I learned that people that still hunted/gathered acquired a wider variety of food and more efficient methods of acquiring it. In other parts such as present land Turkey, societies developed trade links, i.e. one of the main recourses traded was obsidian (used to make tools and instruments.

I have learned many important things about the Neolithic Revolution and Early Man. I learned that the man's job was hunting and gathering. People began to raise wheat, millet, peas, beans, and many other crops. Many people crossed the ice bridges in order to find a new land to settle on. The thory suggests that people made it past the ice by going along the Rocky Mountains, where they remained ice free for most of the years. That is most of the things I leared about the Neolithic Revolution and Early Man.

I learned that once long ago in the ice age alaska and north america was connectd by this big bridge known as the Bering Strait. In a story the bridge was high as the sky. People got over by a couple of ravens flying up and craking the ice. Which broke the bridge.I also learned that the neolithic period was taking over independently. There were less nomads and more permanent settlers. These settlers hunted for food with there tools such as wood, stone, fire, and ect. Lastly they growed crops.

     By viewing the video and exploring the website I learned one of the theories of how the 1st Americans began to settle around the contients. The theory states that about 30,00 years ago there was a ice corridor. This ice corridor connected Asia and North America. I also learned that 10,000 years ago humans were hunters and gathers. Then everything changed because of the Neolithic Revolution. During the Neolithic Revolution humans began to grow crops,and used animals as food. This changes caused our urban culture.

I learned that one theory to explain how people came here is that long ago there was an ice age, and when the ice melted it made a bridge that the people used to cross over called the Bering Strait. After people came here they were in search of food and were called hunter-gatherers because they hunted wild sheep and gathered nuts and berries for food. The early people also made houses and sharp tools out of obsidian rock. These people also learned how to domesticate animals. They grew plants like wheat, millet, peas, beans, and other crops. During this period, communities arose in the Near East, Asia, and the Americas.

I have learned that at the beginning everybody looked the same but since back then people traveled they adapted to the climate and started to look differently. I also learned that they used to travel by a bridge called the Alaska Ice Corridor. They will cross the Alaska Ice Corridor and get to the Americas. Many argue that this is not true because this corridor broke, but it is not impossible to cross it. After this, the people who traveled called huntergatherers stayed in one place. They started to make manipulate wild plants, which provided made food. They also domesticated goats and sheep, which were also eatable. All this happened in different places until the world is how we know of it.

No one knows how humans or where humans originated from. Yet there has been some evidence pointing to two places in Africa named Omo 1 and Omo 2. There a paleoanthropologist named Richard Leakly
discovered two skulls and many bones that looked human. These artifacts were found in Ethiopia's Omo river Valley and are believed to belong to an organism that lived about 195,000 years ago. Artifacts not only helped the theory that human life started in Africa. It also shows many other things like what kind of food were eaten by early humans and how they got it.

What i learned from watching the video and reading the paragraph from the website is the living style of the nomads. Their way of getting food, finding shelter and surviving from danger.

I learned that along time ago that the Neolithic revolution was happening allover the world. The nomads changed the wild plants and started to grow them. For example, wheat, millet, peas, beans, and other crops. they also domesticated goats and sheep. In central turkey you can see the remains of a sophisticated Neolithic society. In catal huyuk a lot of people made shrines and statues of voluptuous women. The statues of the women was of the mother goddess. Some people in Mexico still hunt and gather food.
