Rome's greatest achievement was its system of laws. Some of the features of this system include, men being equal under the law, having the right to face their accusers, and being considered innocent until proven guilty.

Romans traded for many reasons to receive the goods they needed from other countries. I also think that they do this because they think this to be on the good side of other countries. I think they also did this to have cultural diffusion.

 Cultural diffusion promoted culture because new cultures spread to other countries such as the Greek’s culture accepted a spreading throughout Rome this was promoting the Greek’s culture. I think it was a major turning point in Global history because as there was cultural diffusion happened these cultures, cities learned new things from each other they developed better ways of doing things. Such as war one country would see that elephants were used for war to they decided to use them to their benefit. This was a time where new ideas were developed.

 Some of Rome’s greatest achievements were the twelve tables where the citizens became politically involved with the government. Citizens were allowed to elect their rulers and their laws. They expanded their empire they won many wars. They have made some of the largest span domes in the world their artwork is very famous today, they even invented using concrete. There was a “peaceful” time period of about 200 years where the Romans were very successful.
